May 27
Another 3 hours of yard work

.7 mile treadmill walk jog, starting at 2.0 and progging to 3.6, and then going back down to 2.0 and progging to 4.0; 1.2 miles total

May 28
35 minute recumbent bike; level 12; HR got all the way to 150

.75 mile treadmill walk jog, starting at 2.0 and progging to 4.4 mph, and then back down to 2.0 and up to 4.8; 1 mile total

May 29
35 minutes recumbent bike; levels 11-12; HR mostly in the high 110s-120s, rising to 140 when I went up to level 12

May 30
Post-op appointment in Frisco. Fresh snow last night up high, so the drive was beautiful.

There is sooooooo much snow outside of Leadville right now. It’s so hard to wrap your head around the fact that it’s after Memorial Day driving on Fremont Pass.

Also, they’re running a marathon up Mosquito Pass in less than two weeks? That seems inconceivable given how much snow there is.

In health news, X-rays taken and all clear to start my progression back! Full on walk-jog time!

Six minutes of walking, five minutes of jogging, five minutes of walking, five minutes of jogging. 1.31 miles total, with a max pace of 11:26 per mile. CR 220.

Full slate of PT, moonwalks, bosu ball, lunges, etc.

May 31
35 minutes recumbent bike; Level 11 & 12, HR between 120-140; No PT

More yard work. Planting a bunch of trees to get started on a windbreak.

June 1
2 walk; 5 jog; 5w; 5j; 5w; 5j; 2w; 11:54 pace/first jog, 11:22 2nd, 10:14 3rd

1.92 miles

Again, not really painful, but the opposite of smooth. Overcompensating in hamstrings, quads, and core because of weakness in injured leg. Still, a little better than last time.

June 2
35 minutes recumbent bike, levels 10, 11, 12; I’m shocked how I sore I am from yesterday’s run. Not in the ankle or leg, but in my hamstrings, hips, and core. You don’t use it you lose it.
